Flyball

 

Flyball is a high speed relay race for dogs.  It is intense and fast paced.  I did train my Lowchen for Flyball, but have never taken them all the way to tournament.  Showing conformation and breeding has taken priority and we simply had to cut back on some activities and since Flyball is a team sport, it did not seem fair to the team that we have conflicts so frequently.  The photos on this page are just some training that I was doing at home where I was teaching the dogs to retrieve a tennis ball and return to a tug as their reward.  The photos show the intensity these little lions are capable of.
