Some Lowchen will take to the  water purely on instinct and others need a bit of encouragement.  In my experience, most Lowchen can learn to love the water and can do very well at dock diving.  We have a pool in our backyard that the dogs play in all summer long, but we have not done true dock diving yet.  We hope to get to try dock diving in 2017.
